NFT trailblazer, Yuga Labs, has unveiled the gaming mechanics and launch date of its hugely anticipated ‘HV-MTL’ Bored Ape game. As a result, enabling NFT holders to enter the ‘HV-MTL’ forge to ‘build, fight, flex and evolve’ their newly acquired mech armor.
Kicking off on June 29, the NFT heavyweight will launch season 1 of its HV-MTL initiative that will see NFT holders build a workshop dwelling for their digital assets. Effectively, allowing them to customize their own domain, with a chance to reap additional rewards.
As they build, players will seek community approval for their workmanship, garnering votes as they strive to maintain their new home. These votes will then feed into a leaderboard system, with the top players unlocking special abilities as they prepare for the next evolution.
Further down the line, the game promises an additional environment where EV’s can face danger to discover blueprints. In addition to scouring the landscape to gather materials which they can then craft into upgrades. However, a sinister menace also lurks within the HV-MTL arena, that could prove the undoing of many an adventurer!

HV-MTL is the latest development in the ongoing BAYC narrative that earlier in the year saw players traverse a digital sewer in search of a golden key. Those taking part were awarded a mysterious power source, that eventually turned into the HV-MTL NFT collection to a lukewarm reception.
However, those NFTs will now play a critical part in Yuga Labs latest gaming offering, which promises a more immersive experience than its predecessor. In addition, all NFTs within the Yuga Labs umbrella are expected to play a crucial role within the Otherside Metaverse.
This new development comes as the Bored Ape Yacht Club floor price skirts a 40 ETH floor price, a level not seen since November 2021.
